Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2007

Now don’ get me wrong, I am a huge fan of the ninja turtles and they have always been a big part of my childhood, they were a few of my favorite cartoon characters for their individual personalities the fact that they ate pizza, come on now not many turtles eat pizza; even better that they are ninjas. No matter how hard hollywood tries nothing can ever top the first two Ninja Turtle Movies, from their origins the ooze made by TGRI and the kicking the Shredder’s butt. The third one was an interesting change bringing them back to their roots in Japan, but the costumes and voices were different which ruined it for me. Back to the current subject, the Ninja Turtles have never looked strange… It is more the style seems more in line with the dark eerie Turtles from the 4kids network. Curse you 4kids! 4kids horrendously skewed the image of the ninja turtles making and rendering them almost unrecognizable and tarnishing my childhood image of them. Watching the turtles jump from roof to roof in this trailer is nothing like their original charecter and perhaps the strangest protrayel of them I have ever seen, at least Mikey still has his sense of humour. Anyways I will probably end up seeing it anyways just to support the turtles anyways, but I hope it isn’t total rubbish.

POCATELLO, Idaho (Wireless Flash) – Here’s a theory that’s sure to cause a storm of controversy: A meteorologist in Pocatello, Idaho, claims Japanese gangsters known as the Yakuza caused Hurricane Katrina. Scott Stevens says after looking at NASA satellite photos of the hurricane, he’s is convinced it was caused by electromagnetic generators from ground-based microwave transmitters.
The generators emit a soundwave between three and 30 megahertz and Stevens claims the Russians invented the storm-creating technology back in 1976 and sold it to others in the late 1980s.
Stevens says the clouds formed by the generators are different than normal clouds and are able to appear out of nowhere and says Katrina had many rotation points that are unusual for hurricanes.
At least ten nations and organizations possess the technology but Stevens suspects the Japanese Yakuza created Katrina in order to make a fortune in the futures market and to get even with the U.S. for the 1945 bombing of Hiroshima.”

July 28, 2006 by Nathan NashThough some iPods do develop faults, Apple builds them to last at least four years, the company claims.A Chicago Tribune report weighs up the cacophony of complaints regarding Apple’s music players. With Apple selling millions of these devices each month, it’s likely that any percentage of failure would be well reported.
Sigh, my 1g lasted only about a year and a half and if this report is true my current ipod only has a year left.
